TBPG Board Member Speaks at HGS Function

Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG)  Board Member,  Charles Knobloch of Houston, recently spoke at the Houston Geological Society’s (HGS) noon luncheon held at the Petroleum Club of Houston.  Mr. Knobloch reported on items of interest related to the TBPG.  He also gave a presentation on intellectual property in the context of the geosciences.

Mr. Knobloch is a professional geoscientist and US intellectual property attorney with over thirty years experience in the oil & gas industry.  He is a practicing attorney and partner at  with Arnold & Knobloch, LLP (www.aklaw.com), a US patent and intellectual property firm that specializes in strategic positioning of intellectual property around the world.  He was appointed to the TBPG in 2009 by Governor Rick Perry and is currently Vice Chair (elect) of the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists and Chairs the Oil and Gas Workgroup.
